Abroad, he was fascinated by the brewing process and he developed deep passion for brewing beers and founder of Longboat Brewing Co, a well known Microbrewery in Bangalore, Vinay Chandrashekhar gave up a lucrative job in the US to follow his passion.
As he quotes “My vision is to make sure that my city, Bangalore, experiences the finest quality crafted beers, delectable food, and make an impact in the micro brewing sector”.
Recently inducted into the Forbes Business Council 2024 further solidifying Long Boat Brewing Co’s position as trailblazer in the entrepreneurial sphere.
Vinay is an avid sportsman, excelling at cricket and squash. With an aim to “Give Back to the Community”. Longboat recently sponsored the Bangalore Squash League 2023 held at Catholic club to connect with the local community. As the title sponsor of Bangalore Squash League 2023, Longboat Brewing Co not only supported the league but also fielded their own team, the Longboat Squashers.
Vinay’s vision is to create India’s very own Squash league to be able to produce and encourage the best talent in the country.
