– From *22 May 2004 to 28 October 2012, he served as the **Union Minister of State*, with key roles in multiple ministries.
– He held the position of *Union Minister of State for road transport and highways,* from *22 May 2004 to 23 May 2009, and then moved to the **Ministry of railways* until *22 May 2009*.
– From *25 May 2009 to 28 October 2012, he served as the **Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)*.
