Beginning his career in 1991 as a chef, Sashi has worked with esteemed brands such as ITC Sheraton (Dakshin), P&O Cruises, Club Mahindra, Sarovar Hotels, Clubs, Airline Catering, and Singapore Oriental. His journey from Chef to Vice President highlights his dedication, creativity, and diverse experience in the industry.
Under Sashi’s leadership, MPG’s flagship property, Villa Maya, has achieved numerous prestigious awards over the years, becoming a benchmark for excellence in the industry. More recently, Baker’s Arch, the latest addition to the MPG portfolio, has been gaining recognition and acclaim for its distinctive approach and quality offerings.
Known for his ability to transform challenges into successful ventures, Sashi excels at curating menus, designing dining spaces (including kitchen), and blending cultural heritage with modern aesthetics. Despite not being a professional architect, his innate design sense has contributed to creating extraordinary and memorable dining environments.
A sports enthusiast, Sashi has represented India in rowing at National and International levels. He is also an animal lover, a passionate photographer, and a fitness enthusiast. His interests in food design, plating & presentation and creative projects reflect his multifaceted personality and deep passion for hospitality.
Sashi’s leadership continues to drive MPG’s hospitality division to new heights, delivering exceptional experiences rooted in authenticity, innovation, and excellence.
Sashi has also served as the Vice President of the South India Culinary Association, Kerala chapter where he played a pivotal role in advancing the culinary arts in the region. Additionally, he has been a jury member for multiple culinary competitions, showcasing his expertise and dedication to nurturing talent in the industry. As an invited speaker at numerous professional colleges, Sashi has inspired budding professionals with his insights, creativity, and industry experience.
