Mr. Arun Adiga is the Managing Partner of Vidyarthi Bhavan, a renowned restaurant in Bengaluru, famous for its masala dosa and filter coffee. He joined the family business in 2005, transitioning from a career in engineering to work with his father, Mr. Ramakrishna Adiga. Before entering the restaurant industry, Adiga worked in customer support and program management at Reliance Communications, as a technical manager at Gateway Systems, and as a project engineer at BPL Wireless.
Vidyarthi Bhavan is celebrated for its South Indian breakfast items, particularly its signature masala dosa, and has become a popular meeting spot for writers and creative professionals. The restaurant holds a special place in the hearts of its patrons for its authentic flavours and welcoming atmosphere.
In 2022, Mr. Adiga had the honour of hosting Zev Siegl, Co-Founder of Starbucks, at the restaurant. Mr. Adiga expressed pride in showcasing South Indian cuisine to a global audience and was delighted to see its growing recognition internationally.
