Nandhana Group of restaurants

Shweta is a second generation entrepreneur, who shoulders the delicate responsibility of
carrying forward the legacy of Nandhana, built by her visionary father, Dr. R Ravichandar. Born
to a family that actively devoted their energies to build the brand Nandhana, Shweta was
groomed to take over the business and started to learn the tricks and trade of the business from
her younger years. Expanding upon her though leadership capabilities, Shweta has co-founded
RNR BIRYANI, the fastest growing biryani brand of India.

Born in Bengaluru, Shweta has completed her graduation from Stella Maris in Chennai and went
on to earn her Masters from Warwick University in England.
Shweta was instrumental in planning and executing the expansion of Nandhana chain of
restaurants by strategically identifying key locations in Bengaluru. Shweta is also credited for
the transformation of Nandhana by spicing up its menu to include regional, national and
international cuisines. Since her elevation as the Director, Shweta has influenced numerous
changes in Nandhana including initiating systems and processes to closely guard the recipes as
well as to maintain the consistency of taste across all its branches.

At Nandhana, Shweta juggles many responsibilities and is actively involved in overseeing day to
day responsibilities, managing brand reputation of Nandhana and constantly innovating with
experimentation to meet the demands of the young urban populace. Her efforts have bought
laurels to Nandhana by winning numerous awards including Times Food Award in 2022 and
Restaurants India Award in 2022.

In her journey with Nandhana so far, Shweta has defied the norm in restaurant industry, which
till today is largely dominated by men. Her contribution to RNR BIRYANI has enabled the brand to
set a new benchmark in the organic market sector, making Biryani the household name in India.
