With over 5 decades of culinary excellence, Chef Davinder Kumar heads the F&B, as a Vice President and Executive Chef at Le Meridien Hotel, New Delhi. He is a Chef, Leader, Mentor, Author and a Sociopreneur, who multi-tasks seamlessly and excels in each of these roles, with his discipline, dedication, integrity and passion for the profession.

An aficionado in the fine art of cooking to the gourmet’s delight, Davinder Kumar was the sole Indian representative in the International Cooking Festival held in Tokyo, Japan, in 1983 and was awarded a Gold Medal for his presentation of Indian cuisine.

Chef Davinder Kumar is a portal dedicated to the ultimate presence of culinary perfectionism within the global environment keeping its presence of Indianness in his cuisine. Over the years he has been honoured with several awards for his excellence in culinary art and contribution to the industry. He has also been conferred upon ‘’National Tourism Award’’ for Best Chef of India by Ministry of Tourism and ‘’Golden Hat Award’’ by PHDCCI & ICF, Delhi RATAN. He has authored several cookery books with extensive research at their core. Kebab – Chutney & Bread, ‘’Just Kebabs’’, (Celebration of 365 Kebabs & One for a Leap Year).

Chef Davinder Kumar has been the President of Indian Culinary Forum for over two decades. The ICF is one of the largest Chef’s Associations of India. He has played a very important role in popularizing Indian Cuisine across the world, promoting culinary profession, enhancing the image of chefs in industry and society at large. ICF also fosters growth of the culinary professionals by presenting them with the right networking and employment opportunities.

He has been actively helping the underprivileged through his social organisation MUSKRAHAT, which has been spreading happiness and changing lives!
