by his grandfather Mr. Govindan Panhikeyil who founded Paragon Restaurant. The exceptional skills along
with single minded devotion to his profession, extraordinary vision, coupled with determination and

“Paragon was started by my grandad, after he retired from the Railways. He was joined by my father,
P. N. Valsan. My grandad was a regular government official, but it was his passion for food that set him
apart.” says Mr. Sumesh.
