Chef Shreeya Adka, a celebrated culinary expert and founder of The French Door restaurant in Coimbatore, has made a mark in both the Indian and global culinary scenes. Growing up in a family with a 74-year legacy in kitchen appliances, her passion for food was nurtured from an early age, eventually leading her to the Culinary Institute of America. Trained at renowned restaurants like Per Se and Eleven Madison Park, Chef Shreeya has honed a unique blend of French techniques and local flavors, inspiring her to create The French Door, where she emphasizes sustainable and organic ingredients from her farm.
Her accolades include the South India Chef’s Association’s felicitation, the Woman of Inspiration award by IWF, and Female Celebrity Chef of the Year 2023 by Food Connoisseurs India. A respected TV personality, she has appeared as a judge on MasterChef India in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu editions, inspiring aspiring chefs and showcasing the richness of Indian cuisine. She has also hosted a cookery show called Colors Kitchen on Colors tv.
